Meraki 3.2 is purely a ride where you will explore a new side of you. You can ride as much as you want but for each day and for the entire distance there is a defined timeline mentioned in the detailed itinerary. This ride is designed especially for people who love to spend time on the saddle and want to explore the world from the seat of their bike.

We will start this thrilling ride from the wide lanes of India's capital, Delhi, and then paddle towards the beautiful landscapes of Punjab, finally experiencing the patriotic feeling at Wagah LOC.

The Meraki3.2 starts from India Gate, which holds a strong and long past. Delhi still has that charm of the old times and a visit to the monuments of this historical city will leave you in a state of wow.

Amritsar is a city in the north-western Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border of Pakistan. The Indian side of the border is Attari and Wagah is in Pakistan. The charm of this place is to watch the Beating Retreat ceremony. People flock in thousands from both sides of the border to see the fiery soldiers bringing down the flags and closing the gates in mock rage.

No better way to explore the magic of India and her vibrant colors than to take this Meraki3.2 cycling tour.

ITINERARY

DAY1 :  INDIA GATE TO AMBALA | 217kms

Main highlights of the day

  • Reporting Time : 5:30 am
  • Flag-off Time : 6:30 am
  • Break Point : Neelkanth Star
  • Hotel : Hotel Solitaire Inn, Ambala.

All the participants are required to report at India Gate at 5:30 am. Our team coordinator will be available at the starting point. You will be introduced to the on-ground team that will be providing you the hydration, nutrition, medical and technical support during the entire ride. After riding 40kms, we will provide the breakfast boxes to each participant to consume more carbs and proteins for energy to ride.

After covering another 90kms, we will take a break at Neelkanth Star, in the mean-time, you can have lunch. This short break will freshen you up to cover the next 87kms.

We will check-in to Hotel Solitaire Inn, Ambala, for day 1. After enjoying the welcome drinks you can freshen up and relax in your room till the time the dinner is served. Post dinner, you can retire in your cozy beds for a sound sleep to face the challenges for the next day.

DAY 2 : HOTEL SOLITAIRE INN TO JALANDHAR | 182kms

Main highlights of the day

  • Breakfast time: 7:00 am
  • Ride start time: 7:30 am
  • Break Point: McDonald's Doraha (Punjab) 
  • Hotel: WJ Grand, Jalandhar.

Today we are going to cover 182kms. Get ready by 7:00 am and have freshly prepared breakfast. The ride will start from Hotel Solitaire Inn, Ambala, en route you will get the hydration, nutrition, medical and technical support.

After covering 100kms, we will take a break at McDonald's, Doraha (Punjab). This short break will freshen you up to cover the next 82kms.

We will check-in to Hotel WJ Grand, Jalandhar, for day 2. After enjoying the welcome drinks you can freshen up and relax in your room till the time the dinner is served. Post dinner, you can retire in your cozy beds for a sound sleep to face the challenges for the next day.

DAY 3 : WJ GRAND JALANDHAR TO AMRITSAR | 151kms

Main highlights of the day

  • Breakfast time: 7:00 am
  • Ride start time: 7:30am
  • Break Point: Bharawan Da Dhaba
  • Hotel: Evoke Avaas Lifestyle.

Today is the last day of Meraki3.2 and we are going to cover 151kms. Get ready by 7:30 am. At 7:30 am you can have freshly prepared breakfast. The ride will start from WJ Grand Jalandhar, en-route you will get the hydration, nutrition, medical and technical support.

After covering 75kms, we will reach Golden Temple, Amritsar. Visit the historic temple and then explore Jallianwala Bagh. Then we will take a break at Bharawan Da Dhaba. This short break will freshen you up to cover the next 76kms of the day. Post lunch we will start our ride towards Wagah Border to feel the heat of patriotism and to salute our brave soldiers for their commitment and selfless dedication.

We will check-in to Evoke Avaas Lifestyle, Amritsar. After enjoying the welcome drinks you can freshen up and relax in your room till the time the dinner is served. Post dinner, you can retire in your cozy beds for a sound sleep to gear up for the return journey.

DAY 4 :  AMRITSAR TO DELHI

Main highlights of the day

Today we will leave for our sweet homes with lots of memories and a sense of achievement with us. We have kept this day free so that depending upon your availability; you can plan your trip extension or return back home.

If you are planning your return journey, there are 3 different options:

  • By Train : If you have to leave early, you can catch Shatabdi which leaves at 5 am directly to Delhi. Post that, there are few more trains in which you can plan your return.
  • By Bus : The Volvo Buses are there at every 1-hr gap starting from 6 am to 11 pm.
  • By Flight : There are 6-7 flights during the entire day. So, you can choose your flight as per your convenience.

1. I am an amateur cyclist can I register for it as I want to join this ride for an experience?

Yes, you can do that and our team will be there to make sure you get the best experience of riding. As our team is of qualified and experienced riders team so they will help you to understand how much to push the limits and when to rest.

2. Do you have any Minimum Speed Criteria for this Ride?

In Meraki3.2, there is a defined time format where you need to map the timelines provided by us. These timelines will be easily mapped by any rider whose average pace of riding is a minimum of 18-20 km/hr. If you will not be able to manage well in time, no need to worry. Our support team will be there to take you from Point A to B and you can again continue your ride from there.

3. I am under 18 can I also join the ride?

Yes, you can also join the ride with the consent of your parents. You have to get a disclaimer form signed by your parents and submit it before the ride with us.

5. If I forgot to bring any of the mandatory things you have mentioned, will I be allowed to ride?
No, without any of the mandatory things mentioned above you are not allowed to ride. So either bring them along or can purchase from us.
6. What support will be provided by you?

7. Will medical support is also there for riders?

Yes, First-Aid shall be provided immediately to the rider as and when needed. If in case any critical emergency rider needs to visit the hospital that shall be taken care of by us. But the expense of the hospital shall be taken care of by rider only.
8. How can I reach Delhi?
To reach Delhi there are different modes of transportation available.
Train, Bus, and flight and for better understanding how to reach from your city to Delhi, and then at start point please connect us through “contact us” form available on the website.
9. How can I reach India Gate early morning?
If you are staying in the NCR region then UBER, OLA, or any taxi service you can avail. As early morning metro will not be working. Or can ask your friends or family to drop you at the start point.
10. I am coming by my Car to India Gate where can I park my Car?
Pragati Maidan Metro station parking is open 24*7 and which is about 2Kms from India Gate, they charge INR 120 per day.
11. Does tour cost cover our medical insurance also?
No, the tour cost doesn't include your medical insurance.
12. Can I get the detailed route map of the ride?
 Yes, this shall be provided to only confirm riders with the defined timelines.
13. What are the safety rules for Meraki3.2?
1) It is compulsory to wear a helmet for the entire duration of the ride. Riders without a helmet will not be permitted to ride.
 2) For night riding, bicycles must be equipped with front and rear lights attached firmly to the vehicle. Lights must be fully functional at all times. If lights will not be working you are not allowed to ride.
 3) Every rider must use their lights. All riders must wear a reflective vest that clearly places reflective material prominently on the front and back of the rider. If you will not be wearing reflective vests you are not allowed to ride.
 4) This ride is open to any amateur cyclist regardless of his or her cycling affiliations. Riders (under the age of 18) must get a consent form signed by his or her parent or legal guardian
5) Each rider must be covered by liability insurance, either by a group policy or by a personal policy.
 6) Our Sikh brothers - We have RELAXED THE MANDATORY HELMET RULE for Sikh Riders. But the rider must either wear a full Turban/Dumala and not just a Patka/Keski.
14. Do you provide a cycle on Rent? What all will be provided along with it?
Yes, we do provide cycles on Rent. Please contact on this number: 9910081286, we shall be providing cycle along with the helmet. Rest all the accessories you have to bring on your own and accessories are not available on Rent.
15. What is the return Plan post ride?
Ride will end in Amritsar on 28th morning. We have kept it free so that depending upon the availability of yours you can plan your trip extension to explore culture of Punjab.
16. What are the different options of return after completing the ride?
There are 3 different options to plan your return journey.

We follow everything that can possibly decrease your chances of contracting corona virus. Guidelines are as follows:
1. Here are some essential items that you must carry while traveling.
  • Face Masks
  • Hand Sanitizers
  • Gloves etc.
2. As we will stay in hotels, it is advisory to carry your own toiletry kit. This way you can maintain proper hygiene by using your own products. Also, you can keep yourself safe by using your personal towels.
3. To keep the locals safe, it is advisable that riders should maintain distance from the locals.
18. Do I need to carry any Covid Test Report?
With at present government policies updates No, if in future any change of policy happens we shall update you and then accordingly actions have to be taken by you.
